ImageJ is a freeware available online. It is widely used in the medical imaging field for image treatment and analysis.
It allows, among others, to link DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medecine) images to JPEG images.

If you want to access activities and DICOM images available on the jHEDU server, choose the option:
This will open an image explorer with all the activities you have access to. Every activity includes a share folder, which allows the teacher to provide DICOM images. The images are automatically opened with ImageJ.

If you want to open and analyze DICOM or other format images present directly on your computer or external drive, you have to use the option:
This will open directly ImageJ. The advantage of this utilization instead of a “classic” installation (by downloading the application directly) actually being that you do not need to install anything else, everything being handled by the jHEDU server.
